Shipping
All orders ship within 1-4 business days from Encino, CA. Please allow for up to 4 business day processing + USPS 3-7 business day shipping time.
However, as you can see from our reviews, we usually ship fast! It's rare that we are backed up to a maximum of 4 business days, but it does happen during peak holidays, certain sales and promotions or new product drops.
Delivery time depends on your distance. We do not give you shipping lead times, but you can go to the USPS website and use our zip code (91316) to find out their estimate delivery time with their service.
We do allow shipping upgrades so you have the option to add priority or express shipping through USPS. If you chose the upgrade, it will add the cost automatically to your cart to cover the additional cost from USPS.
Please note, this does not expedite the BBB Supplies processing time. If you message us, and we can accommodate, we always will try.
Oh, we hate this one! It really is the worst when a package goes missing.
We have recently seen several cases where packages are prematurely marked delivered before arriving at your address, so we recommend waiting 48 business hours to give the package a little more time to arrive.
We encourage all customers to purchase the Route Purchase Protection insurance at checkout in your cart. That solves this problem immediately since they will cover your package from lost, stolen, or damaged deliveries. (See Route FAQ below)
USPS is your shipping service, and they make no guarantee to their services. (Check their website. It is a bit appalling actually.) Please let us know if the package goes missing. If you have Route Package Protection, we will assist with the claim. If you do not, we will work with you to offer a discount on a reorder, but we are unfortunately not responsible for lost, stolen, or mistakenly delivered packages.
USPS (the shipping service) takes no responsibility for your package once we hand it off to them, so by adding Route Package Protection you are covered if your package is lost, damaged, or stolen.
If you experience one of these inconveniences, you can report an issue with Route and they will make sure you get the resolution you prefer.

Marked As Delivered (Stolen)
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 5 and no later than 15 days from when it was marked delivered
- Orders over $100 USD require a police report
Stuck In Transit (Lost)
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 7 days and no later than 30 days from the last update, 60 days from order date
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 20 days and no later than 30 days from the last update (International), 60 days from order date
Damaged
- File issues for damaged items with photos of the package and item (required) and no later than 15 days from when it was marked delivered.

Orders + Returns
We offer a 30 day return policy for all unused products. If you need to return an item, please email us at Hello@bbbsupplies.com with your order number, reason for returning and a picture of the product you would like to return.
We will respond with your return with shipping instructions. You are responsible for return postage. We recommend returning via a trackable method and with insurance.
Once we receive your item, a full/partial refund will be issued based on merchandise returned. We apologize but we do not currently offer exchanges. It makes a mess of our special inventory system.
For situations of damage/detective or incorrect quantity/style, please send us an email with your order number and an image of the received package and items. We will make it right! Always!
In instances where you tried/used the product. If you are not happy or it did not work best on your particular application, please reach out to use directly at hello@bbbsupplies.com. While we only receive returns on unused items, sometimes, based on the circumstance and solely upon BBB Supplies discretion, we may allow for a one time approval for a return. We can often times put used tape to good use on our social media or a destash lot. Ultimately, our goal is happy customers
We try to provide accurate photos and a photo to show the scale, but we do know shopping online is not always easy. If your order is not what you expected, we have a 100% happiness guarantee. We accept returns postmarked within 30 days, no questions asked. Once the item is received we will issue a full refund (less S&H, unless of course we are at fault).

Washi + Product Care
Well, often times bloggers are using modge podge and poly to adhere the tape to strange surfaces. Even so, our tapes will work in most of those scenarios but we are not responsible that it does not stick to everything you could ever think of (and yes, we get some interesting ones). We appreciate our customers being reasonable, just as we are.
If you have any trouble you can always message us. If it's a lemon we will refund, If it's your application, we will not refund your order, but we probably can offer a fix for most situations. As washi tape enthusiast ourselves, we have tried many applications.
After exhausting all efforts, we will often times still allow a return, even with the tape used, as we can use it in blog posts and social media promotions. However, this is up to our discretion and please message us to discuss. We love keeping HAPPY customers around here.

During extreme cold/heat, allow your washi to get to an even room temperature before use.
Too cold = brittle washi
Too hot = gummy washi
If you find that your washi is not sticking, try blowing on the adhesive, using a hair dryer, or sticking it in the microwave for 10 seconds. (NOT THE METALLIC ONES THOUGH!)
Always pull the washi at a level and horizontal plane. Be gentle with the tape, you should never have to pull or rip it hard. If you pull too fast, it will rip in places you do not want. The key is slow and even.
The first peel of washi may shred or tear a bit. Take your nail and slowly push at the end, a small bit at a time till you have a square piece about the size of your thumb. Then slow and even.
Most washi is sized uses the metric system. If you are in the U.S. and are only familiar with the imperial system, we try to make it easy for you. Each listing will include both metric and imperial if you make sure to look at the description of the tape.
However, please note that the imperial is an approximate, whereas the metric is accurate.

We work continuously to restock products, but production times vary. The best way to know when a product will be available for purchase is to sign up to receive an email notification when that product is restocked.
Items that are listed in our Close-out collection will not return. Once we sell out, it will not be listed again.
